At first glance, it might seem as though Kim Kardashian has swapped her dark hair for more of a Marie Antoinette-inspired do. But don’t worry folks, she hasn’t been over-enthusiastic with the hair dye and backcombers – Kim’s simply adopted the fancy hairstyle for a short film promoting Hype Energy Drink.
The two-minute clip sees the reality star donning a string of different outfits during the promo video.
However it’s the historical outfit which is the most eye-catching, as Kim – complete with huge white wig and heavily powdered face – delicately sips the drink from a crystal goblet. Oh, and we’re slightly liking this look too:Kim’s also getting in touch with her inner Audrey Hepburn in a scene which sees her cycling along a path dressed in a black polo neck, pedal pushers and pumps.
It’s this character we see first in the short film – being knocked off her bike (whose basket is full of cans of Hype Energy Drink, natch), and falling in to a dream sequence, during which she becomes the Marie Antoinette-type character.
Kim previously revealed at the launch of the ad last month in Nashville just how much she enjoyed wearing all the period costume. ‘We had authentic clothes from hundreds of years ago,’ she explained. ‘They were so delicate and we had to be so careful putting them on. It was so fascinating seeing the fashion behind it.’ See the video below.....
