AMC has released two photos from the finale episode of Breaking Bad Felina, which, given the promo trailer featured exclusively clips from older episodes, is the closest you’re going to get to clues about what happens.
A reignited Heisenberg is seen (presumably) driving back to Albuquerque in the first image, though he is notably still wearing a woolen hat and not his usual pork pie, no doubt to the worriment of Breaking Bad hat theorists everywhere.
Walt faces capture and very possibly death if he returns to New Mexico, but seems to be hell bent on avenging Hank’s death and taking back the 70 million Todd and his family stole from him.
The second image brings us up to date with the flash forward judging by Walt’s clothes, he doesn’t appear to be at the ruined White house however but lurking outside an unidentified building.
With just days to go until Felina airs, the world is on tenterhooks as it waits to find out whether Walt will live or die, with theories being shared rampantly online.
Peter Gould, who wrote and directed Granite State, earlier this week said that he thinks ‘real fans who’ve stuck by the show will love it.’
