Nigeria’s dance hall singer, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, otherwise known as Patoranking has grabbed the ‘Best African Art of the year’ at the Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) which held on Saturday in Ghana. The ‘Alubarika’ crooner was announced the winner after a tight competition with Don Jazzy, the Marvin record first lady, Tiwa savage, the Jonnie crooner, Yemi alade, Tanzania singer Diamond and South Africa’s AKA who were in the category.
