Chris Brown 'seeks order in court over custody for daughter Royalty'

Court battle: Chris Brown, seen with daughter Royalty at the Billboard Awards in May, is seeking an injunction to stop the toddler's mother Nia Guzman from talking about him in public

Chris Brown has had enough of his daughter's mother bad mouthing him in public. The 26-year-old singer is seeking a gag order to block Nia Guzman, mother of their one-year-old daughter Royalty, from speaking about him or his parenting skills in public, reports TMZ.

The Loyal singer and Guzman will head to court on Friday to hash out custody arrangements and child support. The singer is also seeking a 50-50 custody arrangement to allow him to spend more time with Royalty.

The pair will also hammer out child support payments, with Guzman asking for $15,000 a month and Brown - who has accused her of treating their daughter as a 'meal ticket' - offering $2500 a month.
Brown and Guzman have had a number of public spats over their daughter, often lashing out in public via social media.

Concerns: Royalty's mother Nia Guzman feels Brown's home is a dangerous environment

Guzman has called Brown's home an unsafe environment, citing concerns after a break-in at his home on July 15. She fears that members of his entourage have gang ties and substance abuse issues, and that the burglary was an inside job that shows his friends are dangerous. Guzman claims Brown is not responsible enough to have one-on-one visits with his daughter, and is pushing for supervised visits only.
