Earlier this year he made the move to America after leaving Liverpool for LA Galaxy. Steven Gerrard has admitted he's enjoying his new celebrity status in the States. Describing his new life in the US as 'mind-blowing', the 35-year-old has revealed it's great being able to walk down the street and not be recognised.
'I've gone from not being able to walk down a street without being stopped every five minutes to being a Z-lister out here and that's cool. I love it.'
Following his career move, Steven is now renting an $18million six bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills in which he lives with his wife Alex and their daughters, Lily-Ella, Lexie and Lourdes. Never one to forget where he came from, although his current abode was once occupied by Mariah Carey, Gerrard said he still finds his life 'mind-blowing'.
