While most people were offering their condolences as Beyoncé attended her uncles funeral this weekend in Texas, a few people on the internet were a bit distracted by her gorgeous cousin instead. The cousin, Kristin Douglas, can be seen in a picture with Beyoncé as the superstar and husband Jay Z attended the funeral of Tina Knowles’ brother Skip Beyince, the man Beyoncé is rumored to have been named after.
The revelation has been one of unbridled joy for all fans – with some wondering how many sizzling relatives the singer could be hiding.
‘Know where Bey got the inspiration for bootylicious. Wonder how many more cousins she trying to hide,’ one commented on the photo sharing site.
While another posed: ‘black twitter has been asking why B has been hiding this cousin. Apparently she is the only cousin who hasn’t featured in any of her videos. Metro FM says because B didnt want competition.’
The brush with fame has gone exceptionally well for mum-of-two Kristin – as the nurse’s Instagram following has skyrocketed from 2,000 to 65K!
