Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has revealed that he wants Peter Crouch to extend his stay at the club.
Peter Crouch has less than a year remaining on his current deal, but the 36-year-old has maintained his standing at the club with three goals in the Premier League this season, despite not starting a single top-flight fixture.
Coates told the Stoke Sentinel: “Peter knows we value his contribution to the football club, not just on the field, but off it too.
“We hope to be able to sort things out to suit both parties. We are aware of the situation (with his contract). We have a good relationship with him and we would like him to continue his career with us.”
