Lupita Nyong'o bares some skin in low-cut black dress as she attends Gotham Independent Film Awards alongside Black Panther costar Danai Gurira

 

Lupita Nyong'o bared some skin while walking the red carpet at this year's Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City on Monday.

The 39-year-old actress donned a low-cut black dress, cinched around the waist with a thick piece of fabric.

She accessorized with huge silver necklaces, big earrings and a large black clutch. Her dark hair was up in a small afro, rising a few inches off her scalp.

The Mexico City native flashed a brilliant white smile through purple lipstick, and she gave a wave as she made her way into the event.

The 44-year-old actress wore a form-fitting black dress that accentuated her chest and ended at her shins.
