Kidnappers of US Missionary worker demand N30million ransom

Kidnappers of American Missionary worker, Rev. Phyllis Sortor, who was kidnapped in the Hope Academy Compound in Kogi state on Monday February 23rd are demanding a N30 million Naira ransom for her release.

The kidnappers had initially demanded a N50 million Naira ransom but have since reduced it to N30m. 5 gunmen, two of them wearing masks, had on Monday scaled the fence bordering the missionary’s compound, fired sporadically into the air and kidnapped her.
