BREAKING: Boko Haram: Army acquits 57 soldiers, sentences 15 others



A special court martial of the Nigerian Army has discharged and acquitted 57 soldiers who were accused of losing their weapons as well as embarking on absence without official leave, AWOL, in the course of the war against Boko Haram insurgents. The court martial, which sat at the Army Headquarters, AHQ, Garrison in Abuja, however convicted 15 other accused soldiers sentencing each of them to one year imprisonment.
