The Senate on Wednesday asked the Federal Government to sue South Africa’s Zulu King, Goodwill Zwelithini, at the International Criminal Court for the role he allegedly played in instigating the recent attacks on foreigners in the former apartheid enclave.
The Zulu King was said to have incited his people by telling them that the foreigners in their midst had outlived their welcome, accusing the foreign nationals of denying South Africans the jobs the hosts would have been employed for. He allegedly directed them to ensure the foreigners left South Africa.
