See: Princess Charlotte's birth certficate

It came as Princess Charlotte's birth was officially registered this afternoon at Westminster Register Office. The certificate was only signed by the Duke of Cambridge 

The Duke of Cambridge signed the birth register at Kensington Palace this afternoon witnessed by a Registrar from Westminster Register Office, giving his wife’s occupation as ‘Princess of the United Kingdom’.It came as the Duke of Cambridge formally registered the birth of his baby daughter, in a near identical way to the manner in which Prince George's birth was registered. William and Kate have also recognised the Duke's father Charles - of which Charlotte is the feminine version - and his mother Diana, Princess of Wales, in the full name.
