Breaking: Yakubu Dogara emerges Speaker House Reps

The ongoing polled for the leadership of Speaker in the House of Representative had seen Hon. Yakubu Dogara pulling 182 votes against Hon. Gbajabiamila's 174 votes. Immediately he was sworn in as Speaker House of Representatives. For the post of Deputy speaker Hon. Mohammed Monguno has been nominated as Deputy Speaker against another Member Hon. Yusuf Sulaimon Lasun from Osun state. The election for the Deputy speaker is on the way
