The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested 24 persons alleged to be drug peddlers in Onitsha, Anambra state. The State Commander of the anti-narcotic agency, Sule Muhammadu, said the drug dealers were nabbed in their hideouts in the commercial town.
Muhammadu averred, “We arrested 31 suspects and we were able to seize about 27.4 grams of cocaine, 8.6 grams of heroine and we are working to secure Anambra.” He further disclosed that the suspects will be charged to court soon.
