The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has appointed former Commissioner of Finance in the state, Kenneth Kobani as Secretary to the state government, SSG. A statement signed by Opunabo Inko-Tariah said former Emohua Council Chairman, Emeka Woke was also appointed by the governor as Chief of Staff, Government House Port Harcourt, while Christian Opunabo Inko-Tariah was appointed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Media.
The statement said that other appointments made by the governor were Dr A. J Beredugbo as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Research and Documentation as well as Barrister Gilbert Nria and Imeh Fubara as Senior Special Assistants, Office of the Deputy Governor.
