Lord Sewel boasted that he had sex with a BBC presenter, telling two prostitutes that he 'had her in the attic', it emerged last night. In a new film which sheds further light on the disgraced peer's lurid sex life, the 69-year-old bragged to the sex workers that it was a ‘one off s***’ because ‘she was happily married’.
The married father-of-four, who this morning quit the House of Lords over the cocaine and sex revelations, apparently made the admission to the £200-a-night prostitutes as he snorted cocaine with them in his flat in Pimlico, central London.
When the woman appeared on TV during their drug-fuelled sex session on Wednesday last week, he pointed to the award-winning presenter and decided to share the details. He even spelled out the presenter's name and revealed the programmes she worked on, telling the call girls that the two of them had appeared on TV together afterwards.
He added: ‘She was very young and it was very pleasant. Quite pleasant, yeah, it was nice you know, I liked her.’ The Sun newspaper, which obtained the footage of Sewel’s sex party, said last night it had approached the unnamed BBC star and she said: ‘This is categorically untrue.’
The revelations came as Lord Sewel finally quit the House of Lords and issued an apology for the 'pain and embarrassment' he caused his humiliated family. The former Labour peer had been under growing pressure to give up his seat after a video emerged which appeared to show him snorting cocaine from the breasts of a prostitute using a £5 note at his flat in Dolphin Square.
