The masked gang carried out the raid in broad daylight while the occupants were at home. In shocking footage recorded on cameras outside the property, the four thugs were seen pulling up on the drive in Romford, Essex, before smashing their way into the house. The gang arrived at the house in two cars - a black convertible Porsche and a black Mercedes -before charging towards the front door (right).
Meanwhile, one of the burglars started smashing up an external CCTV camera, flashing an expensive watch at the lens in the process (left). The three people who lived in the property were at home at the time. Police said the residents, who are in their 20s and 30s, sustained minor injuries from the broken glass.
