There was a mild drama at the University of Ibadan yesterday as a 200 level student of the Theatre Arts Department was caught and stripped naked for alleged theft. The suspected thief had allegedly been terrorizing the Nnamdi Azikiwe hall of the institution before luck ran out on him. According to an eyewitness who was at the Faculty of Arts last night, he got a phone call telling him that a thief had been caught at ZIK hall.
He said, “I packed my books and rushed down to zik hall to confirm it,” he said, “There have been various cases of theft in the hall. I also lost my laptop, HP 2000 (6gb ram.) and my phone blackberry z3.” By the time he got there, the thief had already been stripped and ready to be paraded around the school and the female halls.
