Photos: Ambode opens RCCG, COD Dialysis Centre & Charity Shop

The City of David Parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God under its Healing Stripes Hospital commissioned its expanded dialysis centre and a brand new dental unit. It also re-launched its popular charity shop, It’s New to Me. The dialysis centre and dental unit were commissioned by Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Executive Governor of Lagos State, represented by Dr. Jemilade Adegoriola Longe, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health. 

The dialysis centre was opened in September 2013 and it has had 2,092 subsidized dialysis sessions and 102 free sessions till date. The centre came about with help of its Indian partners and has also successfully conducted 5 kidney transplants. 

The dialysis centre will continue to handle kidney failure issues while the dental unit will cater to all dental related issues. In as much as there aren't many dialysis centre in Nigeria, this is great news as treatment at this centre is subsidized. 

'It's new to me' is a charity shop located at House 3, Prince Alaba Oniru Estate Victoria Island opposite Four Points. 'It's New To Me' sells new/nicely used quality wears, household items, toys, furniture, cars and other items at subsidized prices. See more photos of the centre below...
