This is magic in deed! Jaguar’s first ever ‘family’ sports car has roared its way into the record books today by performing the world’s largest ever loop-the-loop. The gravity-defying 360 degree stunt was performed by the British car-maker’s new F-PACE sports utility vehicle in Frankfurt on the eve of the city’s prestigious international motor show where it is being officially unveiled.
The aim was for the new car to accelerate its way into the Guinness World Record just as it gears up to drive out of showrooms. The new F-PACE and its heroic stunt driver Terry Grant had to withstand extreme forces of 6.5G or six and a half times normal gravity and greater than that experienced by space shuttle pilots at take-off - as it completed the giant 19.08 metre tall loop
The extraordinary feat was designed to showcase both the powerful design of the new lightweight F-PACE and its ability to combine agility with sports car speed and performance. See more from the presentation below....
