Pope Francis, the 78-year-old pontiff landed in Washington yesterday for his first ever visit to the United States. President Barack Obama arrived the tarmac with his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha to welcome the pontiff when his plane landed minutes later at Joint Base Andrews.
