Bride devastated by photographer's no-show at her wedding

Bride Heather Koehler (pictured, left and right, at the photo shoot with her husband Matt) was just five minutes away from walking down the aisle when she found out her wedding photographer had not shown up. She was devastated, but had no choice but to carry on without the professional pictures she had always wanted.

The next day photographer Dana Gruszynski (inset) heard about Heather and Matt Koehler's wedding day woes on Facebook and knew she had to offer to help out in any way she could. Ms Gruszynski got in touch with Mrs Koehler and offered her a stylized bridal shoot - an intimate photo shoot with the bride and groom - free of charge to make up for the other snapper letting her down.

But secretly, the kind-hearted photographer had a far more ambitious plan in mind, bringing together all of their family and friends to recreate the big day and make up for the pictures they missed out on during their wedding. See more photos from the wedding..

The couple were distraught when their wedding photographer did not turn up but looked over joyed by Ms Gruszynski's good deed
