Standing in front of a memorial in the centre of Paris this morning, Graham Satchell became overcome with emotion as he spoke about the aftermath of the terror attacks in which at least 129 people died. The BBC reporter was talking about the hope he has seen in the French capital since Friday's massacre when his voice started to catch in his throat and he had to cover his face as he tried to compose himself.
Appearing visibly upset Mr Satchell looked down and touched his head before looking off camera ending the broadcast early, saying, 'sorry, I'm so sorry'. Viewers have since taken to social media to praise his 'honest reporting' as his colleagues in the BBC studio commented on the impact the tragedy has had on everyone involved. See photos below...
