Ghana Crash: Death Toll ‘Reaches 53’

The number of people killed in last night’s bus crash in northern Ghana has now reached 53, the AFP news agency reports, quoting a police spokesman. There are 23 survivors, Christopher Tawiah told AFP.

Journalist Albert Azongo took pictures of the scene following the collision of the bus with a truck carrying a cargo of tomatoes.
