Twitter rants: Fashola under fire over worsening state of electricity

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, has come under intense attack by some Nigerians following the continued power outage being experienced across the country.

Power generation which had last month peaked at over 5,000 megawatts has dropped to below 1,600 megawatts, thereby plunging homes and offices into darkness. Nigerians in their anger took to Twitter on Thursday to express their displeasure with the man whose duty it is to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
