The shooting of three men who were smoking and listening to music in a car was streamed on Facebook Live. The men, aged 27 and 29, were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia shortly after 6.10pm after police responded to reports of gunshots in the area.
TJ Williams, one of the victims, posted a video to Facebook in which he and two others were smoking inside a car. Dante Rashad Williams was identified by friends as the man sitting in the driver’s seat.
Five minutes into the video, shots are heard and the mobile phone falls to the ground. The sound of someone comforting the men and the arrival of emergency responders can be heard.
The video has been viewed more than 50,000 times. Two of the tree men are in life-threatening condition. Police are appealing to the public for help finding the gunman. Watch the video below...
