President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed two new justices for the Supreme Court. They are Justice Sidi Dauda Bage and Justice Paul Adamu.

This came to light on Tuesday when the Senate President Bukola Saraki read the contents of a letter sent to him by President Buhari on the floor of the Senate for confirmation of the nominees.

The two justices are from the North. The appointment is coming shortly after the release of seven judges arrested by the Department of State Service over corruption allegation.

Details later.
