Tribunal dismisses PDP’s suit against Lalong in Plateau

The 2015 Plateau Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, sitting in Jos, the state capital, on Monday, upheld the election of Governor Simon Lalong of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The tribunal dismissed the petition brought before it by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, GNS Pwajok, on the ground that it was lacking in merit.
