At the moment, the Nigerian music industry and fans are well aware that Skales and his manager, Osagieare in trouble with his record label and the law.
A petition from the record label, Baseline Records was sent to Zone 2 Command of theNigeria Police Force, Onikan, Lagos yesterday and multiple sources claim that both Skales and his manager were immediately arrested, detained and spent the night at the police station.
Baseline Records, is owned by Nigerian businessman and billionaire who goes by the name, Segun Adebutu.
The label was launched in 2014 when it officially signed Skales at an event that was held at The Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos with respected industry heads Howie T and Dipo Abdul at the helm of affairs.
